FAQ

Traditional medicine often focuses on diagnosing and managing disease. Functional medicine goes deeper. We look at whole-body systems, early imbalances, and patterns that may not show up on standard labs. Our goal is long-term healing, not quick fixes.

Our clinic operates as a fee-for-service, membership, or subscription-based model. This allows for longer visits, deeper education, and truly individualized care without insurance restrictions. You may use HSA/FSA funds for many eligible services or lab costs.

You are welcome to use your insurance for laboratory testing; however, we cannot guarantee that your insurance plan will cover all recommended labs, which may result in an unexpected bill. Many patients choose to pay out-of-pocket instead, as our partnered laboratories offer transparent, discounted pricing to ensure you receive the best value.

We do not replace your primary care provider. Functional medicine is a complementary service focusing on root-cause wellness, hormones, metabolism, and lifestyle optimization. We encourage all patients to maintain a PCP for urgent issues, routine screenings, and acute care.

We offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to help you determine whether our approach aligns with your goals. There’s no obligation — just a chance to ask questions and explore your options.
